Rachel Roy is riding high. Just as her new Rachel Rachel Roy Collection gets ready to hit Macy' stores (the line will be sold there exclusively) in three weeks, she is also making plans to open a store in SoHo. Roy will open up shop (a pop-up) at 111 Spring Street on September 10th.
Roy, who sold 50 percent of her company to Jones New York Apparel Corp is planning to open the doors at the start of Fashion Week and in time for the Fashion Night Out on the evening of her grand opening. The 1,800-square-foot store house the entire collection including contemporary sportswear, dresses, jewelry, and handbags.
Roy intends to be in the store regularly to interact with customers and promote the brands mission. Eventually she plans to open other stores in cities across the country as well. The store will be open for 10-days or until the merchandise sells out.
The Rachel Rachel Roy Collection will retail for $59-$299.
