 Ciara should have been a model. Her wardrobe tends to have more hits than her records but I can't knock the girl for staying out there. This week she attended the closing viewing of Marina Abramovic's The Artist is Present hosted by Givenchy at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City this week.

Super producer Timbaland celebrated his birthday at Drai's nightclub in Hollywood. But which one of his R&B diva guests rocked the best look? Brandy opted for a short mini-dress with a wide belt and heels, while Ciara went Ohio Player skintight in a sleek pair of leather leggings with a sexy chiffon top. Both ladies opted for bone strait locks, Brandy with Chinese-style bangs and Ciara with the sleek center part. So which of the ladies won this fashion battle?

Ciara might just be better off as a runway model because the girl's got legs. She was quick to flaunt them too. She wore a bat-your-lashes short yellow and black dress and ankle breaking heels to the US Weekly Hot Hollywood Style bash. She's got beautiful skin and a winning smile. Go ahead, work CiCi!!

Parties & Events: Janet Jackson's Number Ones American Music Awards After-Party

Just in time for the AMA's, Janet Jackson released her number one hit singles collection. Janet Jackson Ones hit stores this past Tuesday and her album "release" party held after the American Music Awards where she performed looking oh so fabulous, had a star studded guest list including Ciara, The Black Eye Peas, Johnny Hill, Erica Campbell of Mary Mary and husband Warryn, and others.

MOCA was privileged to have some chocolate, caramel, and a little cafe au lait at their anniversary celebration on Saturday night. Celebs from TV , film and music rocked the red carpet and there was much ado about style on the scene.

Ciara has been on point lately. Not sure if she's been consorting with a new stylist or if its because she's taking a stab at modeling, but whatever it is, it's making her look fabulous. Zoe Saldana on the other hand had a fashion setback last week when she showed up at the Prada book launch looking a H.A.M. in a colorful but sheer frock. She looked much better at the MOCA event in a gorgeous evening gown and Louboutin ankle-strap shoes.

Eva Mendes wore a pretty sheath but her makeup was bothering me. Not sure if it's botox or what, but I'm hoping her face resorts back to its normal appearance. Sandra Oh should have been dubbed Sandra Oh-no for her hideous get-up. Save the jodhpurs for the jockeys Sandra...and go easy on the blush as an eyeshadow. Still love ya though! Jessica Alba looked...blah...Her red shoes were hot though.

 The queen of the night, Leona does it right.

Leona Lewis has been compared to Mariah Carey since she stepped on the scene Bleeding Love in 2007. The British singer-songwriter released her second album Echo on Tuesday. Lewis' smoky vocals and wide vocal-range make her a high contender for getting to Ms. Carey status, but she'll need a few more hit albums first. Well, at least she's got the wardrobe of a star.

Okay folks, Ciara hit it on the head tonight. The svelte singer stepped out on a chic black dress and a killer pair of Christian Louboutins. Great legs and a great wardrobe do Miss Cici good. now if we can just work on those album sales...

Scorpio women are astutely intense. Nothing gets past them, really. If they are into something or someone, they are totally into it. Half measures are not acceptable for the Scorpio, like Aries, it's all or nothing. Fashion wise she is quite selective with her clothes. Whatever she likes she buys and trends don't influence her much. She loves dark reds, black, violet, and other dark hues. The key word with the Scorpio lady is mystery.

Fashion Rocks sizzles in Rio. The 50% fashion 50% rocks event celebrated Fashions Rocks 4th international iteration with Versace, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, and Calvin Klein collections on the runway. The event  Mariah Carey "rocked" for the crowd as did Grace Jones, Estelle, Diddy, Ciara, and JaRule.
