Parties & Events: Nene Leakes to Host For the Love of Shoes in ATL

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes will host the upcoming mixer and winter preview, For the Love of Shoes at Loft 441 in Downtown Atlanta. The event takes place this Saturday, December 5th.

Soles4sforSouls.com is sponsoring the charity event to raise "shoes" to distribute to those in need. Shoe lovers can come and mix and mingle with Atlanta's premier fashion mavens while previewing the hottest footwear for winter and enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeurves.

Swag bags will be on hand and singer and Soles4Souls.com spokesperson Tiffany Johnson will make a special guest appearance. Guests who bring a mildly worn pair of shoes will receive 20% off their first online purchase.

Entertainment: Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Part 1 Airs Tonight

Not your average Georgia peaches: Kandi, Nene, Lisa, Kim, and Sheree.

Just when you thought it was over, those Real Housewives of Atlanta are back for the reunion show to clear the air and reflect on this past season. Season 2 was probably the most talked about. We saw the housewives party, fight, and fuss this season with more style than ever.

The reunion show will especially interesting since Khandi will be talking publicly for the first time about the loss of her ex-fiance Ashley "A.J." Jewell. We'll see how Nene handles herself since she is always complaining about how everyone "talks" about her and blames her for everything. Is Kim's "engagement" to Big Poppa, real or fake? Is Lisa pregnant? Did she lose her house? How does she fill about Sheree's clothing line? Will Sheree's She by Sheree brand be sold in stores? What's next for Kandi? And of course Dwight will have to throw in his 2 cents. Wouldn't be a show without him, right?

Real Housewives of Atlanta Profile: Nene Leakes

I saved the best for last! Ohmigoooooodness...In the spirit of Shenayneh, Nene Leakes knows how to keep the drama going. We loved her last season as she went toe-toe with Sheree over who was the "classiest", with Kim to see who could out talk who, and her gripe and moan sessions with Dwight a.k.a The Sixth Housewife (how dreadful--and exciting). The irony of Nene Leakes is that while she may come off as a bit much, she actually seems to be dealing with a full deck. Is that scary? Could be, it just depends on what day of the week it is! This season Nene is back to get it started again and of course we wouldn't miss it. Nor would we miss looking inside her new house (she was rumored to be evicted from the last one) to see what the real tea is. Will she and Sheree become friends? Will she squash the beef with Kim, and will she find the man she's been looking for all her life--her father? Time will tell, and in a couple of days we'll know if want to stay tuned or turn the channel. Trust ladies it's going to be a bumpy ride. Thank God for plush peanut butter leather seats...
