Fashion & Style News: Prada & Miu Miu Land on the West Coast

The Prada Group Inc. has two good reasons to celebrate. The launch of their new West Coast boutiques Miu Miu and Prada will be welcomed by luxury label-obsessed fashionistas. Miu Miu touched down in Sin City with its grand opening at the Crystals shopping and entertainment complex in the prominent City Center. The 4,500 square-foot store  features elaborate gold tones, sure to be a winner among the high-roller set. The store has women's clothing, shoes and accessories.

Prada will unveil it's newest store at the luxurious South Coast Plaza (my favorite mall in all of California) with more than 5,000 square feet of shopping space. The store will feature men's and women's ready-to-wear collections, handbags, accessories and footwear.

With the economy struggling, many wonder if the high end retailers can survive. With Las Vegas being such a high-traffic city, Miu Miu is sure to see dollars from everywhere as visitors flock to the town each year in hopes of trying their luck. Vegas is indeed a high-rolling town and appearances matter.

South Coast Plaza is home to just about every luxury brand under the sun. If you're shopping in this mall, you can afford to. Prada will be a welcomed addition to this upscale locale in Orange County. There will be no shortage of spending here.
