Blige goes for dresses with length and color when she's working the red carpet, while you can find her in jeans and boots on the casual tip. Over the years she's changed her style and gotten better with perfecting her look. She's also a bag lady--carrying the latest handbags with flair and of course we couldn't forget her signature shades when she steps out in front of the paparazzi. MJB knows how to keep it live. Fashion & Style News: Mary J. Blige and Catherine Malandrino Join Forces

Mary J. Blige is continuing her plight to help women. She's teamed up with famed designer Catherine Malandrino to create a t-shirt collection to empower women. The t-shirts will make their debut in stores beginning next week.

Blige and Malandrino will make an in-store appearance in Bloomingdale's in Manhattan in hopes of bringing attention to Blige's FFWAN foundation where Malandrino sits on the board. FFAWN or Foundation for the Achievement of Women Now. The shirts which come in hot off-the-shoulder styles with abstract designs. The shirts will start at $39 and will be sold in department stores and freestanding Catherine Malandrino stores.

Blige and Malandrino have affectionately dubbed the shirts T-Luxe for t-shirt luxury. Now that's hot.

Sources allege that singer Mary J. Blige punched husband Kendu Issacs at her album release party. Singersroom blog reports that Issacs and Blige's brother got into a fight and she went to break it up, while the New York Post reports that Blige punched her husband and was overheard saying, "What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?" Whatever the case we hope Blige and Issacs are on good terms and have handled this situation.

The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige spread some love today when cut the and the ribbon to celebrate the opening of the Mary J. Blige Center For Women in Yonkers, New York. Mary partnered with Gucci to support her FFAWN organization with the sale of the limited-edition Twirl watch (see Gucci Cocktail Party for FFAWN.) earlier this fall. The Mary J. Blige Center for Women will be run a partnership between Mary and Steve Stoute.
