November marks the debut of the
Jimmy Choo for H&M collection.
Tamara Mellon, founder and designer of the
Jimmy Choo brand confessed to having a tough time designer a lower-end collection for
H&M customers.
Jimmy Choo is hardly a brand associated with affordability, but it remains a favorite among shoe fashionistas and influential people like
Michelle Obama.
Jimmy Choo for H&M will not only include shoes and accessories but clothes as well. At the urging of
H&M execus, Mellon agreed to create an apparel collection for
H&M customers, giving the fashion-conscious on a budget a chance to experience the brand.
Sequin-covered dresses with plunging necklines, one-shoulder suede mini-dresses and faux-fur vests and boxy zipped cardigans are sure to delight the party girls while the equally edgy shoes are high-heeled, over the knee (boots) and gladiator worthy.
The collection hits more than 200
H&M stores on November 14th.
