Beauty; Chanel Unveils New Makeup Studio at Bloomingdale's Flagship

The new Chanel makeup studio opened up shop at the Bloomingdale's flagship store on 59th Street in NYC. The opening follows a series of other brand counter openings. the 878 square-foot space is larger than some apartments and is Chanel's largest in the country.

This past Thursday marked the official opening of the Chanel counter and is a great fixture in the store's high-traffic areas. The black and white space is the fourth Chanel Makeup Studio in the country. The counter doubles as an event space for everything from product presentations, video screenings, and makeup classes.

Fashion Week Paris: Chanel Spring 2010 Ready-to-Wear

 For the Chocolate Fashionista who loves tradition with a twist, the Chanel Spring 2010 collection brought romance to the runway. In traditional Chanel fashion, there were jackets; long, short, belted, and buttoned; skirts; flirty and full, knits in full bloom, and a bevy of stick thin models in need of sandwiches and sun. Aside from the latter factors, the collection is worth a look.
