Style Profile: Amber Riley
Wednesday, March 3, 2010
Amber Riley is one hot fashionista who knows what works. The pretty plus size diva known most famously for her work in Glee knows how to work the red carpet, accessorize and wear color. She is always together and rarely is she seen without fierce footwear.
Beauty: Rihanna's Blonde Ambition ' Yay or Nay?
Rihanna's striking blonde hair color is not much of a stretch for the cutting edge fashionista. She changes her look more than some of us change shoes. I always look forward to what the leggy singer will do next. She lives for the rebel in all of us.

Trends: Bubblicious - Bubble Skirts
The bubble skirt phenomenon may have started in the fall but the trend is carrying over into spring as well. Bubble skirts will continue to be seen in the form of single garments as well as on dresses. They are perfect for glamorous looks but can be dressed down as well. The bubble skirt is a form of draping with a gathered hem. The idea of the look is to create a bubble like appearance on the skirt, thus giving it it's namesake. H&M and Forever 21 make bubble skirts as does luxe designer Phillip Lim. Paired with the right pieces, such as a fitted tank or sleek cardigan, the bubble skirt offers versatility and style.

Best Dressed: Keri Hilson. She does old Hollywood glam with style.
Regina King is a pretty in peach.
Chandra Wilson keeps it simple and chic in black velvet.
Gabourey Sidibe does short and chic in slate.
Selena Gomez in a snow white floor length frock.
Taraji P. Henson in a sleek, slate blue gown.
Sunshine: Keke Palmer in a vision in yellow.

Cotton candy pink looks good on Mya.
Anika Noni Rose is Dreamgirl flawless.
The sky is the limit for Sherri Shephard, Garcelle Beauvais and Claudia Jordan in these blue gowns. Thank goodness Claudia passed on Bebe for this event!
Monique Coleman almost had it, minus the hair.
CCH Pounder...is an ill-fitting chocolate gown...Maybe the seamstress quit at the last minute.
Keisha Knight-Pulliam is simply gorgeous.
Tatyana Ali stepped her wardrobe game up!
Say it ain't so Raven. This look does nothing for her.
Amber Riley looks amazing! I love this color on her.
Elise Neal's teal dress is a winner.
A tutu style dress...Can't make up my mind about this one.
Kimberly Elise in a breezy chiffon gown.
I think Eva Marcille is lovely, but this dress drown her. Dark colors do her beauty more justice.
Lisa Wu Hartwell looks gawjus...Obviously she's not in She by Sheree. LOL
Crystal McCrary Anthony...love, love, love this dress.
Naturi Naughton is beautiful but this dress reminds me of a Midwest high school homecoming gown.
Rochelle Aytes. A winner and she's so underrated. Keep up the good work, girl.
LoShawn Jeffries. Cute, pure and simple.
Omarosa is finally a fashion do.
Mary Mary: Erica looks great, Tina, leave the tablecloths alone please!
