The latest fragrance from the Donna Karan empire is PureDKNY. The new scent is combining naturalism with philanthropy. It has partnered with CARE to support the women of Uganda and educate consumers on the importance of breaking the cycle of poverty.
CARE has been helping the women of Ugnda since 1969 and has also helped women start small businesses and make a difference in their communities. The PureDKNY fragrance has Ugandan vanilla as well as dewdrop, lotus flower, Bulgarian rose, jasmine, freesia and lush orchid.
PureDKNY will hit stores internationally in the coming weeks and the U.S. in July. It will come in three sizes: 1 oz, 1.7, and 3.4 oz sizes for $42, $60 and $80 respectively. The collection will also include a $38 body butter. The ad campaign will include television and print.
